June’s Monthly Home Checklist

It’s June and we’ve got warm weather, sunlight and what we’ve all been waiting for .. SUMMER!

Summer is a time we all like to enjoy and to make sure you can appreciate all that it has to offer, here are some tips to get you on your way.

WINDOWS

Let the sun shine through your CLEAN windows! Over the winter, condensation tends to build up. This will collect dirt, hair, dust and can result in the growth of mold and mildew. You not only want to clean your windows, but you will also want to get the inside windowsills cleaned. It’s very common for us to go see properties with clients and find that the windows have been neglected.  Cleaning them will result in a healthier home, longer life of the windows and it just looks nicer.

DRYER LINT

Lint accumulation can get hot and catch fire. Removal of lint doesn’t only apply to the lint trap in your dryer, you will want to clear out all of the lint from the exterior vent and the duct as it may have accumulated there too. Too much lint may also result in your dryer working less efficiently.

BACKYARD MAINTENANCE

Last but definitely not least, with June comes backyard entertaining. Get out that patio furniture and BBQ, clean them off and get them ready for the barbecuing season.

If you have a wooden deck, it’s a great time to clean and seal it too. Doing all these things will give you a lot more life out of each of them.

1. Visitor Etiquette: All visitors are required to maintain a respectful and safe environment in our client’s property by adhering to the following etiquette guidelines unless otherwise directed by a representative of The KT Team:

  • Footwear: Please remove footwear upon entry to help preserve the property’s cleanliness.
  • Washroom Facilities: Visitors are kindly asked to refrain from using washroom facilities.
  • Personal Belongings and Furniture: For privacy and safety, please avoid touching personal belongings or opening furniture not part of the sale. Examples include dressers, media consoles, and most free-standing furniture.
  • Food and Beverages: Outside food and beverages are prohibited while touring the property.
  • Furniture: To respect our client’s space, please avoid sitting or lying on any furniture.
