Tell Us Your Origin Story
I grew up just off the island of Montréal with great parents and three siblings, surrounded by family, friends, hockey (playing and cheering for my beloved HABS), and fantastic food — not always in that order! 😉
I married “My Honey,” and we raised three amazing kids. Along the way, we added a couple of dogs to the family. Life was busy, and that’s how I liked it. Now, add two sweet grandkids to the mix, and life is complete!
After spending 28 years with a retail company — doing just about everything from warehouse work to printing to I.T. — the company was bought out, and the new owners had other plans for many of us. So, we sold our home, packed up, left Québec (or, as I like to say, moved to “Canada” — désolé, mes Québécois amis!), and went looking for a new adventure.
Someone once told me, “You’re great with people — you should get into real estate!”
The next thing I knew, I had my real estate license, joined a brokerage, and found my place on a fantastic team.
Ten years later, I’m still here, helping people with their real estate goals and helping them move on to their next chapter.
Loving every minute of it, and having fun along the way. Honestly, I can’t imagine doing anything else.
What’s Your Favourite Food?
Nothing beats a good barbecue — although a smoked meat sandwich from Montréal is a close second.
Where Would We Find You on a Hot Summer’s Day?
You’ll find me cycling through Milton & the surrounding countryside, playing softball in a senior men’s beer league, at a local pub or eatery, having a beer on the patio with My Honey.
Where Would We Find You on a Cold Winter’s Day?
You’ll find me bowling in a league, going on morning outdoor bike rides, and spending time with my Honey.
Early Bird or Night Owl?
I’m an early bird — there’s nothing better than starting the day with a morning bike ride.
What’s your favourite movie?
This is tough, as I’ve seen so many good movies that I can’t remember 🤣. I can’t pick just one, but I love the Marvel movies.
What does your forever home look like?
Anywhere that I’m with Barb (“My Honey”).
