February’s Checklist

It’s February and here is this months Checklist!

ATTIC VISITORS

The first thing you can check off on your February home checklist is to inspect your attic, since it’s often something that doesn’t get done at all. You will want to make sure you’re doing it at least once a year. Get up there, take a look to see if there’s any signs of leaks. With the colder weather, it’s common that rodents are looking for warmer places to live. Make sure you check the insulation for any holes that may have been burrowed in there and also for any droppings.

CLEAN IT OUT!

February’s also great month to clean out your fridge or freezer. Since it’s so cold outside, you can take the food out of them and put it outside while you give them a good wipe-down. You’ll also want to pull the fridge out and vacuum any dust, dirt, and pet fur that may have accumulated under the fridge and on the radiator.

PLAN FOR SUCCESS

If you’re planning on doing any landscaping this year, now is a great time to start planning. If you’re hiring a professional to do it, get them in to give you a quote because they will very quickly be booking up.

FOR SALE?

Also, if you are thinking of selling your home this spring or summer, now is the time to get in contact with your Realtor. Together you can gather a list of things you can be working on over the coming weeks, so you’re not leaving it till the last minute.

There you have it, enjoy it and let it sink in. We have lots more helpful tips you can check out on our YouTube channel.
