Thinking about selling your home in the spring? On today’s podcast, Episode 107, we go over some of the easiest and most effective improvements that anyone can do during the winter months in order to prepare their home for a spring sale and increase the value at the same time.
Wear and tear is natural when living in any home, but unfortunately it does nothing for the price when it comes to selling. There are many things people overlook when living in a home, things we get used to, and things we eventually stop seeing. But these little things add up and they can be the only thing a potential buyer will remember about your house when it comes time to make an offer.
With everyone cooped up inside due to COVID, and now the cold weather, we see winter as the perfect opportunity to start preparing your home for the selling season by getting a head start on any improvements or changes your home may need. It may just be little things here and there, but when fixed they can add up to a higher sale price, or at the very least a much smoother selling process for the sellers.
All of that and more on today’s episode of KT Confidential – Real Estate Podcast.

The founders, Ariel Kormendy and Adrian Trott, started The Kormendy Trott Team, a real estate team based out of Halton region in Ontario, after both being in need of a change from their successful careers in the automotive industry and both experiencing the lack of service being provided in the real estate industry. They kicked off their careers in 2011 and quickly became a top-performing team in the country, ranking 17th of approximately 200 for Century 21 in 2017; as a team of just the two of them compared to much larger teams. They decided that they needed to take their team from being real estate agents in Milton to the rest of the GTA and beyond by expanding and servicing more areas. The team has since grown to have an administrative arm, media department and successful sales team operating a smooth running and successful business.
