On this podcast, episode 142, Adrian and Ariel talk about their profanity use in their content. They explain how they lost a potential client due to the way they presented themselves on camera. Despite this, they still decide to use profanity otherwise it would affect their individuality
Forbes claims that cussing can be beneficial to business. This powerful publishing house recently wrote that a little well-placed profanity can enhance earnings for some businesses. Gary Vaynerchuk, CEO of VaynerMedia, is likely to say, “F**k yeah!” The entrepreneur uses vulgarity liberally in his speech. It hasn’t hurt him, and some may argue that it’s one of the reasons he’s worth about $160 million. In a Facebook interview, Vaynerchuk states, “I only believe in authenticity, It’s how I talk.”
People who swear are more likely to be honest, according to researchers from four colleges around the world. “Profanity was linked to less lying and dishonesty at the individual level and more integrity at the societal level,” they concluded. Profanity, according to SEMrush, is an effective technique to distinguish your business from other dull content creators since it allows you to build a distinct voice.

The founders, Ariel Kormendy and Adrian Trott, started The Kormendy Trott Team, a real estate team based out of Halton region in Ontario, after both being in need of a change from their successful careers in the automotive industry and both experiencing the lack of service being provided in the real estate industry. They kicked off their careers in 2011 and quickly became a top-performing team in the country, ranking 17th of approximately 200 for Century 21 in 2017; as a team of just the two of them compared to much larger teams. They decided that they needed to take their team from being real estate agents in Milton to the rest of the GTA and beyond by expanding and servicing more areas. The team has since grown to have an administrative arm, media department and successful sales team operating a smooth running and successful business.
