On today’s podcast, episode #92, Ariel and Chris discuss the fast approaching back to school season and the different things to consider when buying/selling a home as a parent with children vs a couple/single person without any.

There are many things to consider when either searching for a new home or putting your home on the market. As children are introduced into that situation there is a whole other level of things to consider. Where is the closest park? Closest school? Is the house on a street with heavy through traffic or can my children play hockey on the road? Which room will the baby sleep in? Is there enough storage for all of our things? Do we need more space? Should we buy a new build? What type of community is the house in? The list can go on and on depending on your priorities and your thoughts on how you want your child growing up. But do not worry, we are here to help!

Chris and Ariel break down the do’s and don’ts when moving with children, how the back to school season traditionally affects the market, and the top things to keep in mind if you are a parent or plan on becoming a parent in the next 5 years. All of that and more on today’s episode of KT Confidential – Real Estate Podcast.

The founders, Ariel Kormendy and Adrian Trott, started The Kormendy Trott Team, a real estate team based out of Halton region in Ontario, after both being in need of a change from their successful careers in the automotive industry and both experiencing the lack of service being provided in the real estate industry. They kicked off their careers in 2011 and quickly became a top-performing team in the country, ranking 17th of approximately 200 for Century 21 in 2017; as a team of just the two of them compared to much larger teams. They decided that they needed to take their team from being real estate agents in Milton to the rest of the GTA and beyond by expanding and servicing more areas. The team has since grown to have an administrative arm, media department and successful sales team operating a smooth running and successful business.
