On today’s podcast, Episode 113, we dive into the technology trends that are being implemented in modern homes across Ontario. From automatic blinds to temperature controlled showers, we have come a long way with technology and as it becomes more and more common in homes we ask how can one stand out amongst the rest and really wow potential buyers.
As we enter this new year of 2021 with things such virtual learning, remote offices, and online shopping, technology has never been more integrated into our daily lives. It would only make sense that a demand for more smart home automation is growing. One can debate how much value these upgrades truly add to your home when it comes to selling as it can be difficult to put a dollar value to it. What we can say for sure though is that when someone gets that wow factor after viewing your home it can be enough to draw up a bidding war and entice buyers to put in just a little bit more for a home that is completely decked out in smart upgrades versus the same model with no automation.
Google Nest VS Arlo Cameras, the true value of a smart home, and do TV mounts come with the purchase of the house? All of that and more on today’s episode of KT Confidential – Real Estate Podcast.

The founders, Ariel Kormendy and Adrian Trott, started The Kormendy Trott Team, a real estate team based out of Halton region in Ontario, after both being in need of a change from their successful careers in the automotive industry and both experiencing the lack of service being provided in the real estate industry. They kicked off their careers in 2011 and quickly became a top-performing team in the country, ranking 17th of approximately 200 for Century 21 in 2017; as a team of just the two of them compared to much larger teams. They decided that they needed to take their team from being real estate agents in Milton to the rest of the GTA and beyond by expanding and servicing more areas. The team has since grown to have an administrative arm, media department and successful sales team operating a smooth running and successful business.
