What to do in Milton | Autumn and Winter Edition 2022

Summer is quickly disappearing, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to end.

Whether you’re a busy parent like myself, a few friends seeking entertainment or a retired couple wanting to get out on the Town, Milton is full of fun events during the cooler months.  Below is my must-visit list of events for the 2022 Autum and Winter season.

Milton Farmer’s Market

Support local businesses! Shop for fresh, local products and produce at Milton’s popular Milton Farmer’s Market

Date: Every Saturday until October 8, 2022

Pumpkins After Dark

Pumpkins After Dark is Canada’s award-winning outdoor Halloween event. Featuring over 6,000+ hand-carved pumpkins, this one-of-a-kind walk-through experience is the fall season’s must-see event.

RADFEST

Enjoy some great music, delicious food and a fully licensed beer gardexcellentre will be awesome bands to entertain you, while you throw back a beverage and enjoy a bite, and noone of the awesome food trucks. Music of all genres. Rock, Alternative, Retro and Origin, and no Kids are welcome. No tickets are required for kids 12 and Under.

Spring Ridge Farm – Harvest Weekends

Enjoy hours of farmyard fun with the return of ,the five-acre corn trail in everybody’s favourite fun farmyard.

Milton Fall Fair

The much-anticipated return of Milton’s annual fall fair has finally arrived! Rides, games, tons of food, shows and exhibits will keep you, your family, and your friends entertained all night. The Fall Fair has something fun for everyone.

Hops & Harvest Festival

Hops & Harvest is an Autumn festival that features local food, beverage, and artisan vendors while celebrating the great outdoors. Inspired by the changing colours of the escarpment, the patchwork of farm fields, and the abundance of fresh farmers’ market produce, Hops & Harvest is a unique opportunity to hike the trails, admire the spectacular scenery, and support local small businesses!

Tricks & Local Treats

The Mom Market Collective Inc is holding its first Tricks and Local Treats event! With approximately forty vendors, you’ll find great food and beverage trucks, activities for the ids and an evening with a Halloween-themed movie.

Milton’s Fright Night

The kids will love this family-friendly Halloween event where they’ll get to meet characters, listen to music, dance their energy away, and you can visit local vendors’ market with craft tables and trick or treating.

Tiny Tots Trick or Treating (Main St.)

The kids will love trick or treating in downtown Milton, it’s a great way to kick-off Halloween. Kids and their parents are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes and trick or treat at participating businesses. The event will also feature a scavenger hunt, music, activities, prizes and more!

Milton Santa Clause Parade

Magical Lights of Milton

The annual display of over 40,000 Christmas lights, gracefully synchronized with some of your favourite songs, is once again going full steam ahead.  In support of The Milton District Hospital, donations are appreciated but not required.  Drive by for a view of Milton’s best-dressed house this holiday season.
