Top 5 Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Milton

Top 5 Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Milton:

Here are 5 restaurants that you might not expect to be kid friendly, but you will be surprised to know how well they cater to them. All of these restaurants will serve you and your family an amazing meal and you can feel good with supporting a local Milton establishment. Bon Appetit!

The Rad Brothers (550 Ontario Street)

Owned and operated by Roger and Patrick Radojcic, these brothers have made their restaurant one of the hottest spots in Milton. You might not think a bar would be kid friendly, but with so many families in Milton, the Rad Brothers made sure they catered to them with entertainment, and of course, delicious food and drinks. The food is made fresh and you can really tell they put a lot of love and attention into it. You won’t find the typical pub fair here where everything is premade and microwaved.

They even have kids eat free every Mondays to Wednesdays.  How RAD is that?

What do we recommend? The Daily Soup from Mama Rad herself and their empanadas! Trust us, you will thank us for these recommendations.

Fresh Addicts Juice & Salad Bar (71 James Snow Parkway)

It is never too early to teach your kids what healthy food is all about. Opened in 2014, Fresh Addicts’ owners Sokie and Anhtuan wanted to create a healthy restaurant in Milton where you can come in, sit back and enjoy a meal that is tasty andgood for you. This bright and colourful restaurant will definitely catch your kids’ attention. The open style kitchen where you can see all the amazing ingredients that goes into your salad or smoothie is mesmerizing. Everything is made from scratch, from their soups to even their salad dressings. Fresh Addicts is a great place to introduce your kids to fruits and vegetables that they might not have tried before. You may be surprised to see what they like and you can definitely feel good bringing your kids here for a meal.

What do we recommend? The amazing Greenery Smoothie or The Pink Aloha Smoothie Bowl

Memphis BBQ (327 Bronte Street):

This is the place to dig in and get messy with the kids.  Making meal times fun can be a challenge sometimes, but Memphis BBQ & Wicked Wings just does that. The team here have been cooking Southern BBQ for over 20 years and they have their flavours and skills down to the bone! They have a very affordable and kid friendly menu (for the “Piglets” as they call it) where everything is less than $7! You can get all the kids’ favourites – wings, burgers, ribs and chicken fingers; guaranteed to make the little piglets happy.  The restaurant is very busy and they do a lot of catering for parties as well. Get ready to roll out of the restaurant when you are done, you are going to be FULL!

What do we recommend? The Elvis Combo (3 ribs, ½ lb wings, and ½ lb pork) or The Beef Brisket Sandwich

Troy’s Diner (295 Main Street East):

Troy opened up his diner back in 2005 and ever since then, generations of families have been dining here and leaving with warm smiles and full bellies.  When you step into Troy’s Diner, you are instantly transformed back into the 1970s. With Coca Cola memorabilia displayed throughout the entire restaurant, you almost forget you are in Milton. Their menu is full of kid friendly meals like burgers, chicken fingers, all you can eat pancakes and even milkshakes! The milkshakes are super thick and might just give you a brain freeze.   Transform back in time and show your kids what a 70’s diner use to look like.

What do we recommend? Sausage & Eggs from their All-Day Breakfast Menu or the Troy’s Ultimate Burger

Lunch Box Café (917 Nipissing Road)

Supporting local businesses have always been a big part of living in a small community like Milton. The Lunch Box Café is run by Cheryl Miller who has a heart of gold. The café provides people with developmental disabilities, real life skills, and opportunities to learn how to work in a restaurant.  The food is made from scratch and made fresh daily.  You can tell and taste the care that gets put into each and every meal. The restaurant is cozy with comfortable booths; perfect for the family! What a great place to bring and teach your kids how a meal at the Lunch Box Café can support our community.

What do we recommend? The Gourmet Grilled Cheese or the Smashed Chickpea and Avocado Sandwich
