On today’s podcast, Episode 131, Adrian and Ariel have on special guest and old time friend Mitch James from the MJ Way.
Upon seeing an opportunity in the automotive industry when it came to sales, Mitch quickly realized there was a lack of guidance in regards to how to sell. After offering his skills to other salespeople in his close bubble, it became apparent that what he was offering was not only extremely valuable, but also very practical when in came to improving sales and building a database of clients. The natural next step was to offer his coaching to those who wish to provide better value to their customers and avoid becoming stagnant in an ever-changing industry. Thus was born the MJ Way.
The MJ Way offers automotive consulting, coaching, training and mentoring. The MJ Way mission is to see GOOD sales people and dealerships elevate to their highest potential of GREAT! Far too often I witness dealerships providing decent but insufficient training and coaching for success. I see managers merely maintaining business instead of growing their dealership to greater heights. The MJ Way goal is to help teach those in our industry the opportunities and avenues available to reach excellence at whatever level that may be.

The founders, Ariel Kormendy and Adrian Trott, started The Kormendy Trott Team, a real estate team based out of Halton region in Ontario, after both being in need of a change from their successful careers in the automotive industry and both experiencing the lack of service being provided in the real estate industry. They kicked off their careers in 2011 and quickly became a top-performing team in the country, ranking 17th of approximately 200 for Century 21 in 2017; as a team of just the two of them compared to much larger teams. They decided that they needed to take their team from being real estate agents in Milton to the rest of the GTA and beyond by expanding and servicing more areas. The team has since grown to have an administrative arm, media department and successful sales team operating a smooth running and successful business.
