On today’s podcast, episode #86, we discuss which upgrades you should do to your new home that will not only help customize it and make it your own, but will also help out when it comes time to sell.

Things like painting and updating light fixtures are excellent ways to make the house your own without too much work. These upgrades can also increase the value of your house for resale when compared to the standard builder features. Another thing people should look into as soon as possible is landscaping. The best time to plant a tree is as soon as you can, so after putting some thought into it, getting a jump on the front and back yard is an excellent idea.

With all options available for upgrading homes, we cannot stress enough that if you are going to upgrade anything in your house, make sure to do it with enough time to enjoy them yourself.
