Events in Halton | Spring 2024 Edition

Spring has sprung, and with it comes various local events and festivities waiting to be explored! As the flowers bloom and the days grow longer, our community is buzzing with excitement, offering a wide range of engaging experiences to usher in the Spring season. Get ready to embrace the spirit of Spring and create unforgettable memories right in your own backyard!

Maple Syrup Festival

When: Multiple Dates Starting March 2, 2024 – 9:30am – 3:00pm
Where: Bronte Creek Provincial Park – 1219 Burloak Dr, Oakville

Join a guided tour of Maple Lane, watch as maple candy or taffy is poured and tour the 120+ year-old house. Farm animals and wagon rides are always a crowd favourite.

Browse all the maple goodies in the gift shop or pick up a jug or two of syrup from the maple express shop. The Pancake House staff will serve pancakes and yummy sausages every weekend in March + the week of March Break.

Maple Town at Mountsberg

When: Multiple Dates starting March 2, 2024 – 9:30am – 5:00pm
Where: Mountsberg Conservation Area – 2259 Millburough Line, Campbellville

Immerse yourself in the rich tradition of syrup making as you watch 150-year-old Sugar Maples being tapped and witness the transformation of sap into syrup. Delve into the history of syrup making, tracing its Indigenous origins, and indulge in sampling maple sugar and syrup. Savor freshly made pancakes by fireside lounges and explore the offerings at the Country Store. Take a stroll to visit the animal barn and Raptor Centre, or add to your experience with a horse-drawn wagon ride, Talon and Tailfeathers showcase, or engaging workshops like beeswax candle making and maple sugar making. Plus, don’t miss out on the exciting NEW Sugar Ranger Challenge tailored for kids.
