MEET Kristen Casarin

Kristen’s Origin Story

I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and grew up in Oshawa. At about 22, I moved into an apartment in downtown Toronto and began working in commercial real estate. After obtaining my real estate license, I started working in the commercial field, specifically in retail leasing. After a few years I paused my career to raise my two children. During that time, I started teaching fitness classes at GoodLife Fitness and fell in love with helping people in their health and wellness journeys. In 2008, I moved to Milton for a smaller-town lifestyle for my kids where I continue teaching fitness classes. Once my kids were older, I returned to real estate, working in both residential and commercial sectors. I deeply value the relationships I have built through real estate, with many transactions evolving into personal connections. The family-like bond I have created in my career is something I cherish.

What’s your favourite food?

Anything Italian is a must for me. The saucier the food, the better (with a side of Cheeseburgers). Chocolate is also a must in my daily intake.

Where would we find you on a hot summer’s day?

Anywhere outside. I love the heat. It’s likely on a golf course or at the dog park.

Where would we find you on a cold winter’s day?

I’m under a blanket watching a good Netflix series.

Early bird or night owl?

I’m definitely an early bird. I rarely see 11 pm.

What’s your favourite movie?

The Shawshank Redemption is hands down the best movie ever made. It’s one of those movies that if it’s on TV, I stop whatever I’m doing and watch it.

What does your forever home look like?

I want to live in a country house surrounded by my husband, kids, and at least four big dogs. It doesn’t have to be a big home; it just has to be cozy, warm, and welcoming.
